I’m back from DC, and the countdown to my DCP is on. 6 more days!

Fact: yesterday, a Secret Service Agent at the White House told me that doing the DCP was the most fun he’d ever had.

alyblogsherfeelings asked: Hey there! I'm doing the DCP too! My arrival isn't until the 18th and I'll be MEO but I hope to run into you while you're working since I really love meeting characters while at Disney and with characters come character attendants! I wish you the best of luck as you're checking in soon!

Yesss, please do come visit! I’m sure I’ll post my location the second I find out at check-in! Good luck to you too! :)

Anonymous asked: I'm so excited to do the DCP but I'm only a junior in high school. Is there anything I can do to better my chances in getting in? How hard was it to get in? What role are you in? Sorry for all the questions have fun in DC and your DCP :) °o°

Oh, it’s not problem. I’m excited that you want to do the DCP!

Besides being yourself and having a passion for the Disney company, there really is nothing you can do to better your chances. Disney hires people regardless of work experience, GPA, age, etc. The only requirement is that you must be enrolled full time at a college or community college for at least one semester. Other than that, it’s all about how the recruiters perceive you via your application, online interview, and phone interview. Just be honest about who you are and why you want to do the program! It’s not too hard. :)

And I will be a character attendant starting next month! If you have any other questions, just let me know.

Just a heads up…

I may not be posting too much in these next few days. I’ll be in Washington, DC for my family’s last big trip before my DCP starts.

I’ll be back on Monday, and then I only have one more week until I move to Disney!

See ya real soon. :)
